Son of another Hill bowmaker, Frank Napier joined the Hill firm around 1900. He devised templates and tools with Retford, and helped Hill modernize production methods and speed between WWI and WWII.

Albert Leeson
Joining the Hill firm in 1920, Leeson became one of the finest bowmakers at Hill. One half of the "Gold Squad," he was assigned to make the highest grade fleur-de-lys bows unsupervised.
