In 1998, Ricardo completed school and came to Europe to become violinmaker like his uncle, Giorgio Grisales, a master violinmaker in Cremona.
From 2000 to 2003, Ricardo attended the International Violinmaking school in Parma under the direction of master Elisa and Renato Scrollavezza, and studied varnishing under master Marco Imer Piccinotti.
Since Ricardo arrived in Italy, he has been working in his Giorgio’s workshop, increasing his passion and knowledge for the wonderful world of stringed instruments making.
Ricardo participated in the “Triennale of Stringed Instruments” in 2003.
