This deep, dark red violin was made personally by Joseph Hel of Lille, France in 1901, and remains in pristine condition. It has been certified by the German expert Hieronymus Koestler, and bears the original label, internal signature, numbering, and date, and is branded on the lower ribs just above the button. Josef Hel violins have shown tremendous increases in value, and that trend is likely to continue.
