This bow is part of our 7th annual Contemporary American Makers Exhibition, 2024
Born in Mexico City, graduated from the National Institute of Fine Arts's Violin Making School in Queretaro Mexico. He has taken courses in the construction and restoration of stringed instruments and bows, both historical and modern, in Mexico, Spain, The Netherlands and the United States.
Since 2018, he has been an active student in the Bow Restoration program organized by the Violin Society of America and Oberlin College & Conservatory. In addition, he has been accepted as an active participant in the Bow Makers program since 2020.
He has been a beneficiary of many scholarships in Mexico, which has allowed him to carry out projects focused on the construction of historical instruments and bows.
He currently lives in Massachusetts , where he works for Carriage House Violins as bow restorer and keeps making bows by his own.
