Garner Wilson was trained at the W.E. Hill & Sons workshop in London under the tutelage of bow makers Arthur Bultitude, Bill Watson, and Malcolm Taylor. He left the Hill shop in 1966, and prospered as a self-employed bow maker for the next 47 years, both in England and later in Scotland. This beautiful example of his work is crafted from fine Pernambuco, tortoise shell, and gold.
