This cello was made in 2016 by Francisc Marius Gyorke, and has had one previous owner. It has been played in the Oradea Philharmonic, Timisoara Philharmonic and Romanian Athenaeum and many other concert halls, as well as studio productions. The instrument has been well maintained, and has a new high quality Milo Stamm Bridge and new Larsen and Spirocore strings. It has a very powerful sound with lots of colors, and is easy to play, with a quick response.
Francisc Gyorke is a well known maker from Reghin, Romania. In 2012 Mr. Gyorke won the 3rd prize in the prestigius Cremona Triennale Competition with his double bass.
The cello back & neck are made from Maple, the top from Spruce, and is varnished with Spirt Varnish.
