Made in 2019, this cello made by Cosmin Farcas was played by the previous owner in many European concert halls, like the Timisoara Philharmonic, Santa Cecilia Auditorium and some studio productions. The instrument has been very well maintained, and it currently has a new Milo Stamm Bridge. It has very good projection and a rich and colorful sound. It is very easy to play, and it responds quickly.  Cosmin Farcas is a maker from Cluj, Romania that makes violins, cellos, as well as doing lots of restoration work. He started working as a luthier in his youth at the work shop of his uncle, Dumitru Farcas, and after 20 years he eventually took over his uncle's shop. He is acknowledged by cellists in Romania for his unique way of setting up the instruments, yielding great power and lots of color.  He sells mainly in Romania as he does not produce many instruments each year.
 
The cello back & neck are made from Maple and the top from Spruce, is and covered with Spirt Varnish.
