Anna Tartari trained at the Cremona International Violin Making School under the tuition of masters V. Bissolotti and G. Scolari, where she received her diploma in 1985.

In her workshop in Cremona, Anna makes violins and violas inspired by classic Cremonese and Italian school of violin making.

Awards:

2005: Bronze Medal for a viola at the 5th International Violinmaking Competition in Mittenwald – GERMANY

2004: 5th place with a violin at the International Violinmaking Competition “ Etienne Vatelot” in Paris – FRANCE

2002: finalist with a violin at the 15th International Violinmaking Competition of the Violin Society of America in Fort Mitchell – KENTUKY (U.S.A.)
