This 4/4 Ling Zhen Hua violin has a sound that is warm, round, and complex.
It bears a handwritten label that reads

The back of this violin is formed from two pieces of quarter-cut maple, marked by a beautiful medium-narrow width flame, which slants slightly upward from the center joint. The wood on the ribs and scroll is similar to that of the back. The grain of the two-piece spruce top is straight, narrow, and even.
The instrument is covered with an orange-brown varnish, over a pale gold ground. The instrument is lightly shaded by the maker, and bears a small amount of wear to the varnish. It is in excellent condition.
