Joseph Liu is a violin and bow maker now based in Kansas City. A graduate of the Chicago School of Violin Making, he worked for Hans Weisshaar and Thomas Metzler for many years before relocating to the Midwest.
Each instrument and bow made by Joseph is unique in style and materials--no two are alike! The pernambuco stick won't win any beauty contests, but the bow is still crafted with the same attention to detail and obsession in quality that Joseph is known for. The brass/nickel fleur-de-lis eye was made for knife-making, and adds a unique aesthetic to the frog.
A fantastically-balanced and suitably agile bow, this is a player's bow designed for performance! 62.8 grams
