We are proud to offer this very fine French violin bow made by the esteemed bow maker Charles Peccatte.
Son of Francois Peccatte and nephew of Dominique, Charles Peccatte was born into a family of great bow making pedigree. He worked for Lenoble, Vuillaume, and Voirin before opening his own establishment in Paris in 1908.
This particular example was made circa 1880, before he had several assistants working for him. Recently certified by Isaac Salchow, this bow is an excellent example of this maker's production.
