Description:
This unlabeled 4/4 Century Strings violin has a beautiful tone that is rich, clear, and responsive.
The back is formed from a single piece of quarter-cut maple, marked by medium-width flame, which slants slightly downward from the treble side. The wood on the ribs and scroll is similar to that of the back. The grain of the two-piece spruce top is straight, narrow, and even.
The instrument is covered with a warm honey-brown varnish, over a pale golden-brown ground. It is heavily antiqued and shaded by the maker, and is in excellent condition.

The instrument is covered with a warm orange-brown varnish which has been antiqued and shaded by the maker to reveal a pale brown ground. The violin is in new condition.
