Born 1935 in Salt Lake City

Moved to Los Angeles in 1956

Had an early career as a bass player, and continue to play jazz to this day.

Received training in instrument building and repair work in the shop of Hans Weisshaar.

Studied bow making with John Bolander and William Salchow.

Worked for many years in the San Francisco Bay area and in the Sierra’s.

Currently living in New Mexico, spending some winter months in Mexico.

Served for many years on the board of directors of the American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers, including two years as President.
