Andrea Varazzani received his diploma in 2000 from the "International Violinmaker School Antonio Stradivari" in Cremona, under the direction of teachers Massimo Negroni and Wanna Zambelli.
For the next five years, Varazzani worked with Master Daniele Tonarelli where he improved his style and techniques. In 2006, Varazzani opened his own workshop in Sesto Cremonese, a town near Cremona.
Varazzani's instruments are modeled after the classical Cremonese masters. He uses alcohol and oil varnishes with transparent and brilliant textures. In 2006, 2009, and 2015, he took part in the Triennale International Contest of Arch Instruments "Antonio Stradivari." On 2008, he took part in the National Contest of Violinmaker "Città di Pisogne" where he won a bronze medal for his violin.
He is a member of the Consortium of Violinmakers "Antonio Stradivari" Cremona and he has the license for use the "Cremona Liuteria" trademark. He is a member of the Italian Luthery Association (A.L.I.).
