About the Artist:

Jonathan Moerschel is the violist of the Calder Quartet, in residence at The Colburn School's Conservatory of Music.  He is also an adjunct professor of viola and chamber music at Azusa Pacific University.  He received both his Bachelors and Masters degrees in viola performance from USC, a Professional Studies Certificate from the Colburn School of Music, and an Artist Diploma from The Juilliard School in String Quartet Studies.  He plays on a Gasparo Da Salo viola on loan from the Stradivari Society.
