These trios can be played by many different combinations of instruments--3 strings or 3 woodwinds(including horn). Ensemble pieces of any size or instrumentation can be created when parts are doubled or tripled by the same or mixed groups of instruments.

The arranger has used these trios as works for small church orchestra successfully by carefuly doubling the three parts equally among the available players, being careful of balance and register.
