A few years after Haydn wrote his twelve "London" symphonies, Johann Peter Salomon (1745-1815) published arrangements of the symphonies for flute, string quartet and piano(ad libitum). Drawing on Salomon's original manuscripts, Christopher Hogwood presents critical editions of these arrangements of these symphonies.
